Although we are not giving up in any way, the family feels it is important for loved ones to come together to honor Laura and celebrate her beautiful life. All are welcome, although we think it is best if children (outside of family) do not attend.

I was on that search and rescue 4 years ago tomorrow. my heart and prayers go out to you all. We are experiencing it again on Maui as two women have disappeared in the past 60 days. Nothing adds up! I am a woman who stays home with doors locked, carries wasp spray in my car and purse. I do not feel safe as a single woman on Maui. It is time for change in our justice system and on this planet. Blessings to Laura's family. She disappeared on my moms birthday 2010. 4 years ago and now Maui residence are experiencing the pain and loss once again of women just disappearing. It is NOT ok.
